Plaintiff claimed she slipped after employees mopped up a spill, failed to put out safety cones, and left a dangerous wet floor. The defendant restaurant argued its clean-up was over an hour before her fall, in a different area, and that the floor was dry. Defendant denied any liability and argued that even assuming there was an actual injury to Plaintiff’s hip it did not arise from her fall. After a 5 day trial, the jury found for Ms. O’Connell and delivered a just verdict.
