Fox Law’s Joanna Fox was asked to speak at the National Wildland Fire Conference in Monterey, CA
On April 27, 2024, Joanna Fox participated in the National Wildland Fire Conference, which was co‑hosted by various entities in Monterey, CA. The event convened legal experts, policy makers, land managers, firefighters, foresters, scientists and insurers to discuss the challenges in dealing with the ever‑growing threat of wildfires. Joanna spoke on a panel entitled “Managing Complex Wildland Fire Cases – Effective Approaches through Proper Case Leadership, Management, and Organization. Challenges and Perspectives from the Bench and Bar.” Great job Joanna and the rest of the panel, which included Judge Daniel Buckley (Ret., LA Superior), Craig Simon (Managing Partner, Berger Kahn), and Brittany Sukiennik (Partner, Cravath).
